Nativity is a modern day adaptation of the last 24 hours before Jesus was born. Mary and Joseph are on their way to Bethlehem and their relationship is clearly in conflict. Mary is about to become a teen mom and Joseph knows he’s not the dad. Doubt penetrates the couple as they try to understand the master plan for the baby they are about to bring into a broken world through a broken relationship. What they find in the birth of their son is something better than the gift of a baby, they find knowing. |
