An elderly couple, confined to their home for years, venture out for one last date in hopes of rediscovering the romance of their youth. Recreating their first date at the Picture Show, they return home only to face the reality of their impending mortality. Set in the midst of a small, aging Southern town, the story is simple, yet sweet, and examines the lives of often forgotten, but immensely profound characters. |
