A collaboration of Hollywood’s major studios release through each studios film exchanges free to theatre exhibitors, telling the story of what motion pictures represent to any local community utilizing a typical American family of four. The short opens with the family at home discussing the value of movie to their lives. They take a vacation trip to Hollywood, and get the chance to view short clips from current productions at each of the major studios. The finale has the family returning to their home in Anytown, USA realizing fully just why the movies represent their best entertainment. 1938 was the year of the “Movies Are Your Best Entertainment” industry slogan. |
