‘The Rest of Them’ takes you into a world where society has been completely reversed and now disabled people are the majority of the population, while an able-bodied person is considered “handicapped”. We get to see the day-in-the-life point of view of an abled-bodied girl, living as an outcast in a disabled world; forced to endure bullying, stereotypes, and discrimination on a daily basis, all the while as she can only dream to be like “the rest of them”. But how far will a person go to be considered ‘normal’?… |
