Despite her Sarah Palin-esque mother, Rebecca is just a politically uninvolved, slightly introverted teenager, until she is recruited by a political party to be their teen spokesperson. The party makes her into a teen idol, and expects her to talk about her favorite nail fashions while pushing their political agenda. But the more brightly painted talk show sets she steps into, the more conflicted she becomes about the morality of what she is doing. |
