James has lived in the rural Wheat Belt all his life, working the land and breeding cattle and he would have it no other way. Caught in his isolation and solitude, James sometimes feels like there has been something amiss in his life as he now lives away from his partner. He is also tensely aware of a presence at the old farm with him - watching him from the darkness beyond the windows. Whatever the thing may be, James feels a sense of nostalgia in its presence and he knows it will somehow change him forever. |
