A feature-length film that is an experimental re-interpretation of the ABC After school Specials of the late 1970’s television. ‘Girlstories’ examines the current plight of our U.S. educational system, and the effects current budget cuts are having on State funded art and special educational programming in after school programs for our kids. The film is narrated in ASL (American Sign Language) by a member of the deaf community. ‘Girlstories’ is a presentation of a trilogy of experimental films that observe the conflicts female teens have within our society. |
