‘Robbie Dean’ is a slice of life from a pie you’ve never eaten. It is the story of the Dean family: Robbie, Terri, Freddie, and Vicki- who live in a geometric dome in rural Indiana. Life there is filled with poetry, special effects, and a radical soundtrack. The small moments of their existence are charged with significance, and nothing is too trivial for their inspection. Wisdom passes through the family network with speed, and there is always an instructive word on the tips of their tongues. Some may weigh their judgments as unsound, but to the Dean family, their words create a verbal harmony to the key of love. |
