A group of mad Max devotees build a replica Interceptor and drive it unregistered, unroad worthy across the desert with a paper mache’ blower attached to the locations from the Mad Max movies. Along the way they interview locals about there mad max stories, Grant Page the stuntman from Mad Max and document their interludes with the police, vehicle breakdowns and drunken behavior. All this ends at Bahturst over a 3 day race weekend where the Mad Max sub culture well and truly collides. |
