Docu-drama. Kurt uses ice to fuel binges of adventurous sex, but his risk-taking soon shatters his perception that he is in complete control; Jose, thinks drugs are just fun, until her girlfriend’s nature darkens, forcing her to weigh up their dependency on drugs and each other; and Julian, uses drugs to escape from issues of loneliness and realizes his worth from an unlikely place and decides to seek help for his use. Break the Ice tells six personal stories, interwoven with expert commentary, to inform people who use drugs recreation-ally, and their family and friends, to recognize the signs of problematic drug use. |
