Inspector Jack Robertson and his team investigate a murder in a wood. In the nearby mansion Ross Whyatt, the local politician, is organising a fashion event to boost his credibility. An international glamour model, Olivia Devine, is to make an appearance. Persephone Bell, a journalist, is there to report on the convention, but is more interested in outing Ross Whyatt as a womanising scoundrel. Then Olivia Devine is found dead and Jack’s team start interviewing the guests. When Inspector Chris and Jack are poisoned, as is Ross Whyatt’s secretary- Inspector Michael arrests Ross Whyatt. At the end of the film We discover that Olivia Devine has not died at all, as she murders the latest of her victims, Paige, in revenge for a comment made about her split ends
