A private who has just been assigned to a new platoon goes to a shooting range. The private misplaces one of the empty shells and all the platoon members are ordered to look for the missing shell. Finally, the lieutenant and the staff sergeant make each platoon member take off their clothes in search of the empty shell, but only without a success. Meanwhile, the captain finds out that there was one less bullet in the private’s rifle from the first. The captain does not reveal this fact, and instead, tries to tame the private by forgiving his clumsiness. |
