The video Myopia shows a scenario of 5 people in one room. The camera is continuously in motion, the image is extremely blurred. The space is recognizable by vague shapes of lush colours. 5 people are meeting in one room, slowly moving around and interacting with each other. The sound of people’s movements and actions is particularly crisp and clear. By blurring the image I am depriving the viewer from important visual information. The blurring distorts people’s bodies continuously like a viscous weightless mass. Visually they seem to melt into the surrounding or into each other to form extensive shapes that dissolve as quickly as they were formed.
