Blaine has gathered his friends at his art studio loft for a final private showing. From his deathbed, he makes a heartfelt plea for them to each take some art to remember him. Surprised by this uncharacteristic generosity, the friends soon realize Blaine is not gifting the paintings; he’s selling them to clear his debts before he passes. While viewing the sub-par collection, it comes out that certain friends already advanced Blaine considerable sums of money to fund his last ‘painting retreat’. Do they suck it up and re-purchase art they don’t even want? Or, do they refuse their dying friend’s last request? Finding themselves in for more than they bargained for, the friends try to find a solution where everybody wins. |
