This is a documentary exploring themes of frustration, helplessness, anxiety and stress. The true-life story of a Kurdish asylum seeker in Hull who has been waiting for the Home Office’s decision for permission to stay officially in the UK for almost ten years. After he fled from Saddam Hussein’s regime, Hayder Gafar Azis has been living in a small room, with just enough vouchers to spend on basic food items.
