“The Scene” is a documentary on the punk/hardcore subculture in Tampa, Florida in 1987. Shot over six months at various clubs and halls, the narrative is told through brutally direct interviews with punks, skinheads, Goths, hardcore kids, posers, misfits and others on how they perceive themselves and the world around them. Featuring music and performances by The Rhythm Pigs, Agnostic Front, D.O.A. and Belching Penguins. |
