RAISING FLUFFY is a story of a married couple that commit everything to a project they believe in: building art for the difficult to fathom art party known as Burning Man. Kirk, an aerospace engineer, gives up a job of pressure for one of creativity. He is commissioned to build a 150x scale replica of an emperor scorpion—complete with hydraulic arms, legs and tail, pinchers that pinch, and fire jets that shoot flames 20 feet out of the tip of the tail. All in 7 months. |
