Four young girls from Ayrshire in Scotland deal with their difficult pasts. They all come from homes with addiction issues.They had all slipped through the net or been failed by a system set up to protect them. The girls were involved in all aspects of the film making from scripting to casting. The film also shows how they have managed to turn their lives around. The film was shot in the Scottish coastal town of Irvine. The girls stories were developed over a six month period.The film shows how adversity can be overcome and that there is hope. The stories are true. |
