Having heard about the decrease in the honeybee in local and national news, a group of film students were intrigued and decided to find out more. The students made a call to a local honeybee organization, talked with the president of the organization, and were invited to Bee Day, put on by the Portland Area Bee Keepers Association. There they quickly found out a lot about how important the honeybee is to our everyday life and possible reasons for the decrease. |
