The year is 1761, during a campaign on the island of Belle Isle near the end of the 7 years world war. A British officer who, suffering the recent loss of his wife, also faces the loss of his commission due to a serious error in command judgment. To make things worse, the officer soon finds himself at odds with a renegade soldier whose selfish actions could well have cost Britain the war…and its own political stability. |
