Storm in an hourglass tells a near future tale of a post-war Finland, where the society and infrastructure are but a memory of the past, and the surviving population are left drifting in the war-torn ruins, ridden by a savage plague. The film follows a lone wanderer named Nyman, a hermit, scarred by the horrors he witnessed during the war.
