This is the story of a typical day at work for Nate, a blue collar worker in a re bar yard. When we first meet Nate he is an old man. As Nate takes his lunch break he becomes engaged in a fantasy baseball game (that is reminiscent of Buster Keaton’s’ one man baseball act from ‘The Cameraman) as the young man that he once was. When the game ends we see that the inevitability of life has snuck up on Nate. |
