Nov 1, 2014 will mark 10 years of closure for the passenger terminal at Mirabel airport. On May 1, 2014, Aeroports de Montreal, the unilateral airport authority, announced a tender for it’s demolition. In 1978, cost of the airport was estimated at $1.4 billion.
