Keyla is anxious awaiting the arrival of her dad to celebrate her 16th Birthday. Her uncle Richard brings her a fish and her grandmother Josefina a cake. When everything is ready, Josefina tells her granddaughter that her father is not coming today; he will come the next day. Keyla gets angry and puts everything overnight. The grandmother, secretly, says to Richard that his brother was found dead in the sea, but she is not capable to tell her granddaughter the truth about her father on her birthday. The next day Keyla stills waiting for her dad. Josefina is facing the door and does not know what to do. Then she knocks. Keyla, happy, goes to open the door thinking that it is her father.
