Novelist Tom Brinkman appears to have killed his wife Annelies during an argument. The first policeman on the scene, Bert Verhagen, turns out to be an old army buddy of Tom’s and is persuaded to stow Annelies in the bathroom when her mother arrives. But things go from bad to worse and soon Tom’s publisher Frans and another inspector find themselves up to their necks in dead women. |
