Two men are hiding out in a roadside motel just off a desert highway, one older one younger. The older man leaves only to buy groceries, get the paper, while the younger man doesn’t leave at all. They watch the news. They are being hunted. A crime has been committed. Through watching them interact, we begin to understand their connection. Why neither can abandon the other. And there’s a maid too, always pushing her cart past their drawn curtains, never unnoticed. This is a story of inevitable violence and unavoidable duty. Where does love end and insanity begin?
