Anna-Lena Stohring, a young German woman, lives with her husband in a big house in the Italian countryside. Anna-Lena’s daydreams of love, revenge and emancipation become more and more predominant as she starts facing the reality of her loneliness. An Ax, secrets, lies, a ferret gone crazy, a love affair and the broken neck of her husband transform her superficial frustrated country life into a morbid but real adventure of revenge and healing.
