one of maybe the three greatest horror films of the new millennium; felt almost stunned at the end… been a really long time since a movie was actually able to elicit an emotional response. shock, fear, uncertainty foreboding…. wow, so nice to feel… anything
Literally such a weird film. Started off really good but then sadly went kind of a bit crazy in a very over the top way ( you’ll get what I mean if you watch it). A one time watch but good horror parts and good acting. 3/5

This film is all kinds of f*ed up. WOW. Beyond weird and creepy. This goes on the list of top 10 horror films of the 21st century for sure. It started out ok, but then the shit hit the fan when the girl lost her head…. literally. Poor mom, lost her head too. The older brother, well…. he sort of gets an odd upgrade in life. this movie is all kinds of crazy.
I liked it though. I may not watch it again lol 5/5

Why do people feel they have to retell the details that knowingly will ruin a movie, in an oversimplified way, to ruin it even further!???? You thought it was a great movie, so you want to ruin 4 everyone else? You could have ended at how it was top 10 in 21st century! not retell what happens… This movie, in my opinion, was very disturbing and very well crafted…my friend thought the spoilers where hidden…thanks a lot for the details, especially the most important ones that your not suppose to see coming! why watch it now…you make it sound pointless
Probably the very best philosophically disturbing horror since Laugier’s Martyrs. My last several years of x-mas traditions have incorporated Hereditary and Beaujolais…Good Times!!! Absolutely grandiose in its’ descriptors of hell’s grotesqueries right here on earth. ohMAHgod I loved it. Toni Collete, the entire ensemble—++superb!!!

However, I would agree that what bobbydoll stated in the comments would have not spoiled the movie in anyway for those that have not watch it yet. This was really disturbing and shocking…right up my alley.the plot,actors,everything was amazingly done.it even made me feel a bit mentally unstable!
Acting was superb , this was the only good thing about this movie.
