From Pieces to Peace is based on the true accounts of how the relationship of the film’s writers was impacted after the young lady lost her mother to cancer. The ultimate question is, ‘how do you move on from loss? The film shows both current day and flashbacks to build up the relationship with the mother and daughter, how the guy fits in the equation, and the aftermath of the mother’s loss with her battle against breast cancer. The film has been 6 years in the making due to the filmmaker’s hardship with going back to that darker period of time. The film was made to help those grieving loss, especially the loss of a loved one to cancer. |
