Two rough sleepers living ‘on the edge’ meet and start a relationship that gives them confidence to rebuild their lives and re-engage with society. The film tells a very contemporary story of survival in a divided Britain that is shrinking its welfare system as the gap between rich and poor widens, and the flood waters rise. Filmed in autumn along the riverbank in York, this optimistic drama suggests alternative lifestyles and ways out of economic/political chaos. |
