Details:

In the first decade of the 20th century, the Grand Trunk Railway constructed a northern route across Canada. Through Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta, they named each siding in alphabetical order. 93 stations were named, completing at least 5 rounds of the alphabet. This became known as ‘The Alphabet Railway’. EH to ZED is a prairie tone poem, illustrating the effect of time and nature on man-made objects across a landscape.
