Debbie Reynolds was so stressed out from catching her best friend Eliz Taylor with her husband Eddie Fisher when this was made, she dropped to less than 90 lbs & her director made sure she drank shakes on the set to keep her health up during filming.
No singing & dancing at all, it’s a great comedy that takes a jab at the IRS. Odd Couple star Tony Randall is the stickler from the government sent to do the hatchet job on Debbie’s sweet lovable family. They’re so sweet, he had a hard time being the bad guy.
