The sinking of the RMS Titanic is one of the great maritime disasters in history, however there is a forgotten side of the tragedy of those who paid the highest price for it. We follow the story of the Titanic’s engineering crew who performed the dirty and necessary job keeping the ship powered through its voyage. When the ship had its fatal collision with an iceberg, they took on the hopeless struggle to stave off its sinking, and when that proved impossible, they fought to keep the ship’s systems operating as long as possible. In doing so, they made a great sacrifice to give the rest of the stricken ship’s crew and passengers the best possible chance of survival on that terrible night.
