Eric is alone, although he hasn’t always been. We meet him drowning in sadness and overwhelmed with a sense of self pity. His mood, flattened by a hangover, threatens to ruin his day as he paces his Paris bedsit searching for answers. Memories pursue him relentlessly, reminding him that the ambitions of his youth hang in threads. Disgusted at his own appearance, he hits on the simple idea of cleaning himself up. If he can just pull himself together and look the part…then maybe there’s the possibility that he can have it all back. Eric is the stylish debut film of celebrated photographer Paul Winter. |
