In the wake of a devastating loss, our Good Man finds his lady tormented, and needing to move on by any means necessary - even if that means framing him for a heinous beating. And while he continues his humble life as a limo driver, she pursues a life of means through “Better Men”. But despite everything, our Good Man sees her pain, and reveals, with one simple gesture, that he will always be looking out for her. Loosely set in the early 1970’s, and featuring Raphael Saadiq as the narrator and inner life force of our hero, Good Man explores lust and longing, humility and social climbing in a dramatic story of a couple falling apart and finding their way back together again.
