‘It’s Magic’ was the result of a film improvisation workshop, in which the actors worked intensely for one week to create and perform a short film. The process began with character development and then the actors worked through scene improvisations to create the final finished script. The film was shot on the last day of the workshop. On a broad level, it is the story of a mother who is reconnected with a lost son; on a broader level, it is about the power of art or magic to connect people of all ages and points of view — if you like, the ‘magic of magic.’ |
