A writer is about to finish his debut novel when his apartment is burgled. His laptop and the nearly finished manuscript disappear under the arms of a burglar. Luckily the thief decides to come back again, and finally gets caught. The laptop is retrieved, but now it’s filled with home footage of the burglar, who has filmed himself the entire time. He is a young Moroccan rapper who also writes for popular youth magazines and is very active on the Internet. This is the beginning of a special relationship. The writer feels the burglar has intruded into his life, and now he refuses to let go of him. He starts stalking him, and creates setups in which he can observe his burglar closely. |
