When Jesper (Jason Schwartzman) distinguishes himself as the postal academy’s worst student, he is stationed on a frozen island above the Arctic Circle, where the feuding locals hardly exchange words let alone letters. Jesper is about to give up when he finds an ally in local teacher Alva (Rashida Jones), and discovers Klaus (Oscar® winner J.K. Simmons), a mysterious carpenter who lives alone in a cabin full of handmade toys. eff 11/15 : Brand New Netflix HD Versions.
Fantastic movie!
I loved the portrayal of how each event/deed added to how the whole Santa story began.
My favourite characters were the little Saami girl and the reindeer.
A little detail I loved was how the reindeer were “baited” by Klaus dropping clumps of lichen, which is what reindeer eat, and not carrots. Real reindeer don’t eat carrots. lol
This was a cute movie, a little drawn out, slow at times, but it is a good Christmas movie.
Do not miss out this GEM!!
Such a lovely movie.For the whole family to enjoy. I think as good as any other top notch Disney movie, if not better!
