Details:

In early 1939, the Spanish Civil War is coming to end. Nationals prepare a landing operation unprecedented. About thirty boats with more than 20.000 men, proceed from Castellon and Malaga to Cartagena. The called ‘Expedition Cartagena’ failed and one of his ships, the ‘Castillo de Olite’ never returned. Sunk by the impact of a coastal battery, its passage would suffer the greatest naval tragedy death toll in the history of Spain.
