Marcellino rushes for a priest ,for his dear mom is going to die.When he comes back with him,it’s too late.Good neighbors take care of the poor orphan till the funeral.They think that the brother of the late mother -who led a racy life and was unwed- will attend the ceremony and welcome his nephew.An old eccentric passes himself off as the uncle and takes the boy in the old coach in which in lives.But the true uncle turns up: a self-interested nasty man ,who covets Marcellino’s inheritance.Besides ,he wants his nephew to join the young beggar boys who work for him. |
