In Santa Monica 1985, the deadly new virus AIDS has triggered an epidemic around the world. Christian Nerron, a once beautiful and talented UCLA music composer, is now dying of the disease. Tormented and given up hope on a cure, he tries to persuade his boy, Philip Daniels, to leave him. Refusing to abandon the love of his life, Christian slowly comes to terms with their relationship is pure, and he takes tragic actions. “Let Me Go” is about the values of unconditional love and finding life even when the end is near. It is dedicated to the 39 million deceased AIDS victims. |
