Robert Slavin is a much quoted educationist, primarily because of his series of overview articles on what works in education: evidence-based education. He and his staff have translated the key findings into the educational program; Success for All, which has already led to important improvements in language skills among over two million pupils, and thus to better learning careers and professional careers. In this mini-documentary, Robert Slavin elaborates on his research and the Success for all program. Slavin was awarded an honorary doctorate in recognition of his exceptional contributions to the academic world. The honorary doctorate was awarded by the University of Groningen, the Netherlands, on the occasion of its 400th anniversary.
