Gil makes an unplanned and unquestioned trip home from India to see his fading Pa, who lays motionless in bed due to a spinal stroke- a far cry from the Aussie rock star he once was. Devotedly, Gil stays with Pa in his silently pulsating room of nostalgic long-ago memories and palpably absent future. As the night goes on, and the past and present begin to bleed and blur, Gil is forced to open his eyes and face the saddened reality of the situation he’d escaped. What happens next is mystical- something unexplainable, something spiritual, something bigger than us.
