On a brisk late fall morning, Isaac scopes a quaint town square for inspiration for his next painting when he is disrupted by the presence of a swashbuckling rival painter named Francois who is more consumed by fame than the act of painting itself. After gaining public appreciation for his thoughtless, paint-splashed canvas, Francois is carried off to an art gallery. In the process, Isaac is bumped, causing him to accidentally spill paint all over his painting. His anger subsides after hearing a woman display interest in one of his pieces, but is dismayed when he realizes she is referring to the botched painting. Before the days end however, Isaac receives the appreciation for his art he’s been longing for, leaving him fulfilled and rejuvenated. |
