This is what I believe is a new genre of film making, involving a piece of performance poetry as the script for the film. In this case the artist Susan Sutton has written a poem about her personal experience of domestic violence. She performs her own poem and relives the events that happened to her when she was almost murdered in her own home. A powerful performance from Susan about the shocking events and injuries that were inflicted upon her and how she overcame them. |
