“Iris” follows Alix, an aspiring artist, as she recounts to a Counselor her experiences since her suicide attempt, searching for hope and meaning in her various memories. Issues with her mother, recent stepfather, creative block, and depreciated self-worth plague her mind, calling her to question where she fits in her own world. Following her attempted suicide, she finds people and experiences that reinvigorate her spirit, offering her the possibility of hope. Yet in the end, she must make a critical choice that will ultimately decide her fate.
