Julia, who lives in the Carpathian forest, must stay at home on New Year’s Eve to keep an eye on her mentally ill sister, who i slightly handicap as well. She has been looking after her sister since she became responsible, caring about her more than their parents do. The snowstorm causes some unknown man to appear in front of the Julia’s house. He has got only a small video camera which he used to take some photos in the mountains. Being afraid of making the guest spend the night in extreme conditions, Julia lets him stay at home. The closer it it to midnight, the less she has to try proving her sister that New Year’s Night is something out of the ordinary. |
