The film examines the challenge of a lonely Chinese photography student suffering from displacement and a lack of motivation for his craft. By chance, he agrees to go to a party with a friend and there he finds his muse in beautiful, modest, Lisa. Newly inspired by Lisa’s sense of tradition, Chen seeks solace in her company. Unbeknowst to him that it is possible to fall in love with only an illusion. |
