In a country where corruption has reached epidemic levels, an investigative journalist tries to reveal a medical mogul’s corruption that caused the deaths of dozens without blame. Essan’s daughter has kidney failure and has been affected by the filters this mogul’s factory makes. Essam’s marriage is stale because of their daughter’s sickness and he finds himself lured by an attractive seductress. When Essam can’t pay for a kidney transplant for his daughter, he wonders if he should become corrupt herself in order to save her life. And what must he do to save his marriage and reputation? |
