After the sudden death of her predecessor, Sarah Caldwell is assigned the final appeal in the case of Denise Lowell, who was convicted in the slaughtering of her family, coincidentally on the same day as the 911 attacks on the WTC and Pentagon. Denise has maintained her innocence for over a decade. Now with Denise’s execution fast approaching, Sarah is flung into a race against time to try and find evidence that would warrant the reopening of the case of the administering of a stay of execution. She soon finds herself in the middle of something more dangerous than she could ever image. |
